2007 Park Row Garden Project
The new garden at Park Row
Penny planting the new plants.
This was what the area looked like before. The land was derelict
and unused for many years.
It was full of rubbish and weeds.
Knaresborough in Bloom improved this area. We cleared out
the weeds, removed an enormous amount of dumped concrete, dug over the ground
and topped up the garden with compost. We then installed a new railing at
the top of the garden. Jenny from HBC produced an exciting planting plan and
we purchased the plants and created this garden.
This project was funded through County Councillor Bill Hoult's member budget.
This project is now complete as the photos show.
