2009 Railway Station Artworks Project

Three Knaresborough artists have been asked to quote to produce railway poster "pastiche" artworks. For copywrite reasons we cannot copy the original railway posters. Knaresborough in Bloom needs to raise £1400 for this project and we have about £600 to date.

This project was inspired by the town's Trompe l'oeil artworks which Knaresborough in Bloom volunteers erect each summer. Knaresborough in Bloom is working to improve the gardens and surroundings at the railway station and last year for the first time we entered the station for Yorkshire in Bloom. The station was awarded silver.
